Sometimes getting started is the hardest part. If you feel that is you, keep reading–you are in the right place. First, you will need the actual materials. I use an Apple iPad mini 7 and an Apple Pencil Pro as my device and stylus. There are numerous choices available. I would suggest researching what’s out there and really being honest with your price point and what you want to use the device for. Don’t just get a device because it works for someone else–at the end of the day, the system has to work for YOU.
Next, you will need a note annotation app. I personally use Noteful but I am also well-versed in Goodnotes. I have plans to try out a few new apps and give you reviews of them. Make sure you subscribe for those updates.
Finally, start small. Rome was not built in a day, and neither will your digital organization journey. I always suggest starting with a notebook and a few stickers. This will help you learn the app while figuring out which style works best for you. I have included a free digital notebook as well as a free sticker page in this post. Feel free to download them and see if using digital products will work for you. Note: the digital notebook will work in any annotation app; however, the sticker books will only work in the Noteful and Goodnotes apps.
